Founded in 1929, Universal Lubricants was created at the time of the internal combustion engine to compound, package and distribute petroleum products. Today, the company has engineered a diverse product line of oils, greases, and other lubricating fluids for use in sophisticated engines and equipment. Universal proudly offers a wide range of environmental services including used oil collection, used oil filter collection, used anti-freeze collection and a parts washers’ service program. In addition, Universal houses a state-of-the art lubricants laboratory that provides quality control, serves as a research and development facility, and monitors our oils and their related performance specifications. Furthermore, Universal provides the convenience of an on-line oil monitoring program through our “Life Lines and Engine Guard” programs to assist our customers in their maintenance practices. All these services are available in our many locations throughout the Midwest and Central Southern United States.
